“I heard Phil talk last week at the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) meeting in San Diego. WOW! Every time I hear Phil I leave pumped up and motivated to make a difference in the lives of injured workers and the business of workers’ compensation. In a field where mediocrity abounds, Phil is a rare breed: an experienced, intelligent, innovative, witty and passionate advocate for excellence in the workers’ compensation. Phil is someone who is making a difference and I’m happy to recommend him.”
“Phil Walker was a most powerful speaker at the State Bar Workers’ Comp Fall Symposium on October 25, 2008 in San Diego. Phil’s teaching style is both engaging and thought-provoking, using an easy-to-understand format that is enhanced by a thoroughly entertaining presentation. Phil is a consummate teacher of the AMA Guides, knowledgeable of every technical nuance.”
“Ah, Phil, another brilliant performance from a consummate professional. You had them in the aisles. Outstanding.”
“[The CEU Seminar] was a great class and Phil Walker is the best.”
“I just wanted to thank you for the training yesterday. It was excellent! Not only is it valuable information, it is directly relevant to what I do every day. I also appreciate your candor, and sense of humor. You really made it fun. Thanks again for all of your service.”
“We sincerely appreciate your efforts to provide meaningful training opportunities for our staff; keep up the great work!”
Thank you so much for the education and enjoyable seminar. Both my son and I thought it was extremely informative and your presentation was perfect, a lot of humor is always important. Steven and I were quizzing each other on the way home, I think he won! Steven can now have a intelligent conversation regarding ratings. He is prepared to address any issue re ratings, thanks to you...
You are an angel! Thank you for the great class! You really lifted my spirits today and class was a wonderful experience and surprise!
On behalf of the firm, let me say that in my 25 years of practice in this crazy WC area, yours was the best, most entertaining and productive seminar I have ever attended. I have a problem sitting still at any seminar but not last Friday. You did a splendid job simplifying the AMA Guides and how you kept this rather dry topic lively and humorous for 3 hours was truly amazing. I am sure our attorneys would be unanimous as far as extending an invitation in the future to meet with us again. I am only sorry that we seemed to have lost you en route to the post-seminar cocktail scene. Thank you again. Let’s stay in touch.
I just wanted to send you an email to express my immense gratitude for your teaching. I participated in the ratings class you gave on Friday of last week for KT&T in Los Angeles. You kept calling me Ms. Almarez because Joe Kieffer told you that’s my name! Well, it’s actually Sana Shah.
I just tore up an ortho QME report today thanks to your training. You know you’ve learned a lot when you can identify nonsensical phrases in a report. Again, I am eternally grateful for your teaching, your wisdom, and your delivery. The Guides can be a ketamine shot to the jugular (sorry about the metaphor), but you made it super exciting. Thanks again, and I would love to learn from you again!
